[ LAB LOG — UPCOMING COHORTS ]

Two more cohorts are on the bench. Neither is open yet.

Cohort 02 (Analytics & Measurement) and Cohort 03 (Email Marketing & Automation) are being built now. We're not selling seats we can't date. What we can do is tell you first — and hold founding-member access for the people who raise their hand early.

Why no dates yet We run one founding cohort at a time, on purpose. Cohort 01 is enrolling now — its seats are filling fast. Dates for Cohort 02 and 03 get announced once Cohort 01 has run and we have real student outcomes to show you — not before.

COHORT01

Performance Marketing + AI

Meta, Google, tracking, the money math, and an AI workflow layered on every task. Students launch and optimise real campaigns on their own ad accounts.

COHORT02

Digital Marketing Analytics & Measurement

GA4, GTM, server-side tracking, conversion APIs and attribution — built the way an agency actually builds it, on a live property, not in a slide deck.

Waitlist open Alumni + waitlist get first offer.
COHORT03

Email Marketing & Automation

Lifecycle sequences, deliverability, segmentation and automation workflows. Currently being scoped — the syllabus below is a draft, and waitlist replies will change it.

Analytics & Measurement

Most marketers can run an ad. Far fewer can prove it worked. Attribution is the skill that separates the person who reports on spend from the person who gets trusted with it.

This cohort is the plumbing: what fires, where it goes, and why the number in Ads Manager doesn't match the number in your bank account.

Built for
  • Marketers who run campaigns but can't defend the numbers
  • Freelancers whose clients ask "where did this lead come from?"
  • Cohort 01 alumni going one layer deeper
  • Founders who don't trust their own dashboard
Not built for
  • Anyone who has never touched an ad account
Draft module map
  • 01Measurement strategy before toolingWhat actually needs measuring. Defining the one revenue event that matters — and why optimising to a micro-conversion quietly kills accounts.
  • 02GA4, properlyEvents vs conversions, custom dimensions, the reports that lie to you, and BigQuery export basics.
  • 03Google Tag Manager, hands on containerTriggers, variables, dataLayer, and a real container you build and debug live.
  • 04Server-side & conversion APIsMeta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, webhooks. Capturing revenue events that happen off your domain.
  • 05Attribution models & the gapLast click, data-driven, MMM at small scale. Why platforms over-report and how to reconcile.
  • 06Dashboards that get readLooker Studio, one page, decision-grade. Plus an AI layer that writes the weekly narrative.
  • 07Capstone: audit a broken accountYou get a real (anonymised) mis-tracked account. Find every leak, fix the spec, present it.

Email Marketing & Automation

Paid media rents attention. Email owns it. This cohort is about the asset you keep when the ad account gets suspended — and the automation that runs it without you.

Honest position: this one is still being scoped. The module map on the right is a draft. If you join the waitlist and tell us what you'd need in it, that changes what we build.

Built for
  • Marketers whose lists exist but do nothing
  • Founders sending broadcasts and calling it lifecycle
  • Freelancers who want a retainer service that isn't ads
  • Anyone drowning in manual follow-up
Draft module map — subject to change
  • 01Lifecycle mappingEvery stage from lead to alumni, and the message each stage actually needs. Most sequences fail here, not at copy.
  • 02Deliverability firstSPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm-up, list hygiene. Beautiful emails in spam are worth zero.
  • 03Sequences that convertWelcome, nurture, abandoned intent, win-back. Written and shipped, not theorised.
  • 04Segmentation & behavioural triggersEvent-driven sends. Wait-for-event logic instead of blunt time delays.
  • 05Automation with n8nWebhooks, CRM sync, WhatsApp handoff. Build a working workflow, not a diagram.
  • 06AI in the loopWhere AI writes, where it must not, and how to keep a list from sounding synthetic.
  • 07Capstone: ship a live flowOne automated lifecycle flow, live, sending, with open/click/revenue attached.

Straight answers

Am I paying anything to join the waitlist?

No. The waitlist is free and there's no card involved. A paid assessment applies only to cohorts that are actually open for enrolment — never to the waitlist.

When do Cohort 02 and 03 actually start?

We don't publish a date until we can hit it. Cohort 01 is enrolling now; Cohort 02 dates go out once it finishes and we have real student outcomes to publish. Cohort 03 follows Cohort 02.

Do I need to have done Cohort 01?

Not required. But Cohort 02 assumes you've touched an ad account — if you've never run a campaign, measuring one won't make sense yet. Cohort 01 is the right starting point.

What do waitlist members get?

First access the moment a cohort opens, the full syllabus before it's public, and founding-member terms reserved for people who raised their hand early. You see the details before anyone else.

Can I really influence the syllabus?

For Cohort 03, yes — it's still in scoping and the "what would you need this to fix" answer goes straight into the planning doc. For Cohort 02 the spine is fixed; the emphasis isn't.

Will you sell or misuse my number?

No. It's used for cohort announcements from Performance Lab and nothing else. Reply STOP once and you're off the list.
